Community Church of Hendersonville

Every year we at Community Church gather for this sacred liturgical service in our sanctuary.  And every year we are deeply blessed as we face our humanity in light of God’s extreme holiness.  While this is a more somber service, it continues to grow in attendance every year and continues to be an amazing way to begin the 40 day Lenten Season.  Mark your calendars now and join us for this poignant service.  Your spiritual walk will be enriched in powerful ways as your enter this time of prayer and fasting on this special night.  We will be blessed by the Community Choir and have an opportunity to experience the Imposition of Ashes and reflect on that meaning.

*   A Youth Sponsored meal will be served from 5:00-6:30 p.m.  All proceeds will benefit youth going on a mission trip this year.

*   All children, youth and adults will meet in the Sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. (classes are suspended on this night)

*   Nursery will be offered for ages 2 and under
