The Masculine Journey

Dates: May 16, 23, 30 – June 6, 13, 20

As men, we spend time reading and studying about the masculine journey, but can we truly identify our own journey in becoming an authentic man?  Maybe seeing another man’s journey will spur us into seeking a deeper understanding of our own.  God calls each of us into a journey!  In every journey we will set out into different adventures only to find God right beside us so we’ll fall in love with him and his will for our life.  During this journey we find our healing, restoration, and God’s purpose for our life.  We all have our own unique journey with God.  To help us identify our own masculine journey, we will watch Balin’s journey in the movie “Kingdom of Heaven” by Ridley Scott.  This class will expand on the information taught during our class “The Quest for Authentic Manhood” by Robert Lewis.  It will also include the materials and thoughts from John Eldredge in the books Wild at Heart, Captivating and Fathered by God.  We will also look at Moses, David and others along the way.
