FRIENDS: To Our Neighbors
When it comes to the holy task of extending compassion, Jesus’ desire, expressed in John 15, is simple: You are my friends if you do what I command: Love One Another. At the heart of our church is a desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our neighbors – both near and far. FRIENDS to our Neighbors provides a variety of simple ways for church members to serve our community. Join our quest to be a friend and make a difference!

* Thanks to all of you who provided salad and potato bar items, chili and homemade desserts for the luncheon at Gene Brown School on March 2nd to honor the faculty and staff. They were very grateful for this and many other ways that Community Church reaches out in love to them.
* Thanks also to our church family for your generosity in providing Spring Break Food Bins for 38+ families from Gene Brown, Whitten, and Rucker Stewart schools plus a couple of neighborhood families in need! The bins were delivered in time for the break.
Serving Families in Need
Coats for Kids – collecting new coats and gloves each winter for neighborhood children. Coordinator: Jinny Glasco

Through HEARTS for HOMELESS
A ministry born out of a desire to make a difference for those in our neighborhood who are homeless or nearly so. Among other service, we provide food to children and families through Weekend Food Packs and School Break Bins.
