World Missions

We are dedicated to carrying out God’s mission of bringing the hope of Jesus Christ to a lost world - be it around the corner or across the globe. CCH is actively involved in partnership with missionaries, churches and organizations who share the good news of Jesus worldwide. In addition, many of our members are engaged in ongoing short-term, evangelistic and vocational missions. In 2009 CCH hosted Step Into Africa, an AIDS-awareness tour sponsored by World Vision.

Our Mission:

The CCH Missions program supports those taking the Gospel to people who do not know Jesus
as Savior and promotes evangelistic work in areas resistant to Christianity.  This work is
accomplished by winning the lost to Christ, planting churches, and to disciple new believers to spiritual
maturity.

Our Goals:

  • To increase our commitment to missions work to a level where a full 10% of the church budget is earmarked for missions. both here and abroad.
  • To educate and involve our church family in global mission efforts.
  • To build lasting relationships with those we support financially and with the Christian Communities in which they work.
  • To provide full-time support for at least one missionary in a foreign field who is a native of that country, particularly those serving in the “10-40 window” of the world.
