Welcome to Community Church. We are thrilled you are here.
Anyone attending Community Church is welcome to participate in any non-leadership activities of the church including classes, Life Groups, choir, mission trips, fellowship events and so much more.
Essential to becoming a member, first one must be in Christ, for it is Christ Himself who adds us to His Body. If you have yet to accept Christ as Lord of your life and feel led to take that step, please contact the church and we would love to put someone in touch with you to answer any questions you might have and share this awesome step with you.
For those who want to make a deeper commitment and become a member of the Community Church family, membership is a two-step process:
First, we ask prospective members to meet with a couple of our shepherds for an informal dinner on a Wednesday night. This initial get together allows the prospective members to ask questions about our church and gives you and our shepherds the opportunity to get to know each other better.
The second step is to attend our Membership Matters class which is offered 4-5 times a year on Sunday mornings. You can let us know about your interest in membership in a few ways:
- You can mark your interest on the attendance/offering envelope and drop it in the offering plate.
- You can fill out a form to tell us a bit more about yourself and someone will contact you.
- You can call the church office at (615) 826-0042 and someone will be glad to help you.
We know that Jesus Christ is the greatest gift a person can receive and we pray that whether you choose Community Church as your church home or not, that you seek out a church home that helps you have a personal relationship with Christ.
