Thanks for choosing to take a look at our site. There are a lot of amazing churches in this city, each reflecting a facet of the larger body of Christ. Whether here at Community or within another expression of faith in Jesus Christ, I hope that you will find a ‘community of people’ that you can join and be blessed by in your journey.
If I could describe who we are, in theological terms it would be a interdenominational fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ. In the most practical sense, our DNA is— a flawed setting of ‘everyday people’ where the dominant refrain is the scandalous message of just how much you are loved by God! You can’t begin to imagine how huge the Father’s heart is for you! Therefore it’s our desire to be a light in this city reflecting the inclusive love of God. Comforted and yet challenged by the life and message of Jesus Christ, we seek to be a welcoming and serving community. Faith and life intersect right here as we share God’s grace in how we live and in what we believe. Through ministries of healing and reconciliation, justice and worship, we affirm the value and worth of all humankind. So what’s next? Our message is “God loves you beyond your wildest dreams.” We want you to know that truth. Valuing each individual’s spiritual pilgrimage, we confront the next day and our ultimate future with hope and confidence in God’s purpose.
